The Canon PowerShot A480 is based, then, on the DIGIC III image engine, which offers fast response times and ensures exceptional image quality. To ensure everyone to get perfect photos, finally, there are as many as 15 shooting modes, able to cover all situations of possible scene.

Finally, this camera can also record video with a maximum resolution of 640×480 pixels and up to 30 frames per second. As regards, finally, saving photos and videos, the camera has a memory of 32 MB, expandable with external memory cards with SD, SDHC, MMC, MMCplus and HC MMCplus. Regarding nutrition the two alkaline batteries supplied assure a maximum of 200 shots.


Handy, very economical, the Canon PowerShot A480 is the ideal camera for those who want to take pictures of reasonable quality even not knowing anything about photography. Of course, it is not the top of the range, even considering the price, but the camera is of decent quality, it features a 10MP sensor and has some nice features, such as Face Detection and Motion Detection. Among the known negative, apart from the internal memory, even the choice of alkaline batteries instead of the lithium battery.
