The new camera, the PowerShot series, called the Canon Powershot A570IS, is equipped with Canon’s DIGIC III processor. This processor intelligently and effectively allows the application of technologies such as Face Detection AF / AE / FE and an advanced noise reduction.
Face Detection uses of new algorithms to identify faces at a distance from the machine never reached before, is able to identify up to a maximum of nine faces in the same frame and determine if a face is or is not the main subject of a shot, by adjusting the focus and exposure.
